There are many more interesting questions like what compulsion these birds have that they need to fly thousands of miles over Himalayas to go to their destination.why they did not chose alternate rout or destination.Is specie's better because of that or natural selection took a path of zero return. Answer to these questions are more important than speculation of this change in millions of years.
