It shows Hubris and total arrogance on the part of Communist China's double speak agent. This person has shown total disregard for civility(lack of press freedom make him a clear agent of State of China). After eliminating religion in most of china and suppression of Muslims, Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucianism in china this man has arrogance to suggest that a nation with multicultural multi ethnic society be challenged and broken apart using uniqueness of its inhabitants. The saying goes that the ones who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others.Normally i would not respond to articles like this .This being openly beligerent requires a quick response.
Communist China has no moral claim even when accepted by the political world. They have claimed Tibet which had long closer relations historical, religious and political with political India and now claim areas long part of India just to keep relations at edge.If keeping tension with a neighbor and promoting nuclear proliferation is their way to keep India in check they are succeeding.
There is nothing common between China with its militaristic atheist communist regime and people of Tibet,Or Turkish speaking Muslims Uighur. To claim them as part of China is nothing but denial of religious social ,cultural rights of these people.
Maoist in India and other communists have gotten help from their communist masters in China and has promoted violence and disorder in India. They have also lost the popular support from masses as shown by electoral losses suffered in last general election.
Communism has harmed Chinese people(Mao's cultural revolution) more and is threatening peace in the region. It is time that world recognise and muzzle such voices of hatred and let tolerance and moderate behavior take hold.Backward societies of past can not be replaced by totalitarian societies of the future.I am surprised bankrupt communism ideology of 20th century is being replaced by Militaristic state capitalism of China. In this system individual mind, soul, faith and freedoms can be sacrificed at the alter of this system.
European union model is fine for India and its neighbors.India's goal of lesser defense expense can only be achieved if region has a development and trade agenda rather than militaristic command and control.China's policy of keeping tension with India and helping India's adversaries is cause of concern not only for India but for development in the region.
If pushed by china and its allies there is a big chance that India may move in American column which it has avoided to do for political as well as strategic reasons. If pushed India may have no option for its development than to become an American ally.Neutrality and democracy has not helped India in physical development. Its success in IT has been the first booster which has helped its strategic trade with Russia as well goods trade with china.WITHOUT THE AMERICAN revenue for IT India falls flat in trade .Hope it can develop other industries now. Americans feel that a developed and democratic India is good for Indians as well as for the world .
Communist Chinese regime sees a developed India as a threat. It seems china has as an economic model best defined as state capitalism in spite of remaining internally communist(there is no history of such societies succeeding for long). Most of the free world thinks its trade will make it more pluralistic as well as democratic.I hope it happens soon. World can not afford another military race.
New government in Bangladesh wants to demilitarise relations with India .Which will help both countries even when China may not want it to.India needs to develop strong trade from middle east to Japan by road as well sea.Cost of raw materials have to come to world rate and shipping and trucking costs have to be reduced for more successful trade.Systems barriers have to be removed.
BEST RESPONSE TO THIS ARTICLE IS IMPROVED TRADE AT LOWER SHIPPING COSTS AND WORLD PRICES FOR THE RAW MATERIALS. democracy in the region will make region more peaceful and i hope China joins that group .
