Discussion on stage setting, in friendly gatherings like Davos can serve great purpose of presenting ideas to the world body and can explain positions in better fashion by talking it out and discussing even if parties involved are not the final decision makers.
Job of moderator is very difficult and should always be undertaken with care.Equal time should be assigned to opposing views even if time constraints do not allow.At the risk of going over time but major points hashed out have much higher value than abrupt ending of discussion and disrespect to elected leaders of good standing( proof is in the invitation itself).By not providing such framework Davos has failed to provide a framework it thought it was doing.It can improve its structure without handicapping its good intentions.
