What did Jinha say to my uncle in 1946 at lahore station

This story was related to me by my late uncle Y Chaudhary .He told me that he had seen Mr Jinnah Secular founder and first governor general of Pakistan at Lahore (now in Pakistan) railway station in 1946 .He went to him and asked what is your message for me .He was about 30 years old then and worked for the railways. Mr Jinnah asked him if he was a Muslim. To which he replied that he was a Hindu .Mr Jinnah then said i have no message for you.Go to Gandhi for the message.
This i am relating as it has been mentioned at times that when an Indian Muslim asked Jinnah for his message to him, he had said to be a loyal Indian Citizen.
