Challenge for every young person how to make 50 dollars an hour and not 10.

I have been studying this issue for most of 40 years .How one makes a comfortable living.This I am talking in America not in a third world country.

Many places in the world people work hard to fit in a mold.they get certain education,certain training and entitled to a job with certain amount of wages and benefits.Once you make into this group and do not screw up you are set to get this standard of living.It is no different than what used to happen in America.If you joined a union,got a city or state job,police and firemen. Federal government jobs.If you joined large corporation you were guaranteed a straight path to comfortable living with car house picket fence with 2.2 kids.Then it changed to 1.8 kids divorce two cars and pool and a dog and a cat and two week vacation every year and a new car every two year.

Now nothing of that sort is guaranteed.Now we have many illegal and new immigrants who are competing for starter jobs and are anxious to work and prove their worth.Many jobs are being downgraded and or eliminated .They were the pathways to wealth.

Previous generation of immigrants went into grocery business and food ( restaurant business to serve their native food .It ensured them a stable supply of food.In the process they learned fundamentals of business.Purchasing ,MANAGING COST AND PROFIT. Business is for sure an experience in slow rewards.You save money to start a business plan it and create value by buying wholesale( large quantity at lower price,adding value like making new product out of raw material( like making bread out of flower),assembling products ( making sandwiches out of cold cuts vegetables and bread.).These all ventures once were very local enterprises now most of the meat comes from animals grown in factory farms and butchered in large meat processing plants.In this over mechanization we have lost that path way to riches , independent small successful business.

Our produce comes from far flung places of the earth.Our people are being asked to compete with $3 per day labor. we can not do it.

Higher education is sure a way to high end jobs .All the jobs which pay more than 100 k require post grad education and ability to manage people and schedules.Medical profession seems to be immune to any shocks so far.Elitism is prevalent in the nation .Largest corporations have failed but we still can not reconcile that highest wage of hundred times the minimum wage is adequate payment for any president of a company.That would put highest salary at 1.4 million per year.This amounts to $800 per hour and is about the four times the salary of the president of the united states.

It still remains a challenge to bring average earning in the country up.Bring the standard of living up.Provide security for mental and physical health.If lucky we can build and leave a legacy for next generation of richness and plenty.

FOR SURE WE CAN NOT SPEND MORE THAN WE MAKE.
