Andhra MP slaps a bank manager

My India .In Andhra Pradesh a member of Indian Parliament of congress party M Jagannath was caught on video slapping a bank manager Ravinder Reddy in his office.When confronted he denied it.As it became clear from the video and whole country saw it he came back and apologised sort of ,actually stating he had no grudge against the victim.His unconditional conditional apology is not very convincing. I remember something similar happening to our RI congressman Patrick Kennedy when he pushed an airport security guard and then wanted to charge her with in- appropriate behavior. By the way later when sued by the security guard for mental anguish settled the suit financially.
So i can say behavior of the privileged in India or US is not much different.Only 235 years of democracy has made America more conscious of human rights and very independent Judiciary has played and important role in curbing the powers of the privileged in issues of human dignity.
It is fascinating to see what 200 years of Constitution had difficulty in delivering(for lack of burden of proof)Only 20 years of IT and video technology is delivering .Long live the technology and its power.
