In Indian parliament while discussing the new railway budget of Railway Minister Ms Mamata Banerji very interesting conversations took place. Ms Banerji belongs to the state of Bengal and is from smaller party in alliance with Congress party.She spends a lot of time in Bengal as the leader of her party and has said she can work from anywhere in the country,does not have to be in her ministerial headquarters in new Delhi.She is very astute politician and does not want to loose influence on her supporters and want to bring home the bacon.
While discussing her proposals to upgrade 3o9 railway stations it was mentioned 137 of them will be in Bengal. Somebody said all projects for Bengal and rest kangal(penny less).In Hindi that is funny as it rhymes in meaning and tone.
Lalu Prasad who is really funny and was the railway minister in last government said why are you all worried, world class railway stations is only an idea,it can not be implemented.
He added while he was a minister he also presented a plan to modernise Railway station at Patna
which never got done.Which made every body laugh and opposition leader said that after such an admission by Lalu there is no need of debate .
