I am not aware of any Country in the world where a government has kept civilians in camps for no reason just for spite for months at the time without being looked after international red cross and UN observers .Even prisoners of war have more rights than that.Recent pictures show that summary killing by Sri lanka Military.
India should insist vigorously that international relief organisations be given chance to help the effected people.Their safety and humanity should not be compromised.
Silence on the part of world is deafening.For India not to say any thing is criminal and should stop.If India does not act it will create a militaristic opposition not only in Sri Lanka may be even In southern India in their support.
Now when Tamil Tigers have been eliminated the government of Sri Lanka should treat Tamils with dignity and provide opportunity so they may be integrated into the Lanka's civil society. Tamil of Sri Lanka are very capable and given the chance they can help Sri Lanka progress tremendously.
