President of the US has one of great honors to bestow the Presidential medal of freedom on outstanding world citizens.Today he bestowed this honor on 16 outstanding citizens.These people are indeed unique citizens and nation is honored to recognise their service.

Mohammad Yunus and Desmond Tutu and Sydney pottier seemed extremely happy to receive the honors.Among several Nobel prize winners present Mr pottier really relished by standing straight and still and have the president put the medal around his neck.Rev lowery seemed to be pleased that this honor was finally bestowed.
Posthumous award for Gay rights activist Harvey Milk made a loud and clear statement that nation honors all who serve irrespective of their sexual orientation.
Minorities and women were well represented in the award recipients.
