India is building American style malls .It may be some sign of progress.But to charge poor people equivalent of several dollars just for the privilege to visit is shame on India.
It is apartheid of the worst kind .Poor know that they can not buy most expensive stuff in these stores but they can not even visit them and soke up some air conditioning is terrible public relations on the part of these mall owners. A line of products and services can be sold which even poor can afford in India .It will give poor children idea of the world around them and give them idea how the other people live.
It will also help them to learn trades which they may employ in the long run to improve their income.
It is worst than the blacks only restaurants of American south of gone by era.
SHAME ON INDIA.
