Talk deeply and be happy.

A very interesting subject.Matthias Mehl, a psychologist at the University of Arizona who published a study on the subject.
This study compares the happy index of bunch of young men and women on the basis of the type of conversations they are having.Thirty second recordings every ten minuits or so was the method used and all conversations were analysed to be put in two catagories deep conversation or small talk.On the basis of self reporting by the people having the conversations it was found that the people having deep conversations were happiest or at least they thought so.Is it possible that deep talkers took themselves and there happiness seriously enough to think they were happy and the others who were engaged in small talk were just making a small talk about their happiness and moderate their experiences.
Any way it was a very interesting subject. If it encourages people into deep conversations i am happy for it.
