what are the fate of shakespeares protagonists in tragedies

We go to tragedy to watch a man be destroyed. Macbeth must be destroyed for his lust for power, Othello for his jealousy, Antony for his passion, Lear for the incompleteness of his renunciation.

My question is can a man be saved from himself and in the process giving hope to all the mortals desiring for the a hope and chance at immortality and forgiveness.

I doubt if their ever will be another Shakespeare but masterpieces will continue to be created, not by one soul. That is truly the genius. No wonder some research has revealed that Shakespeare may be many different people giving credit to that master and remain anonymous in the process.
