Hum aur Tum(me and you)

Hum aur tum, it can be beginning of a good poem.Here in hindi or urdu depending where you are, Hum is plural I and tum is singular you.Let us translate it into english. IT become I and you or you and I.Now you is plural you(singular as well plural)and I becomes singular I or me.It replaces royal plural Hum with singular lonely I and gives more importance to you Making it plural royal you. May be it does not matter.Only to poet who is talking his royal self and you lowly yes absolutely charming tum(you).It is how a poet in his greatness may surrender to lowly tum even if this tum (You) may at times be devine god himself/herself.
