Terrorist Trials

The terrorist trials should be set where all pretrial motions should be done in three months and then proceed with the trial . No details of the proceedings other than appointment of competent attorney should be broadcast and then trial should get the needed coverage.No need to give extra exposure to these crooks. All this needs to be done only to protect the innocent.
Liberal democracies have problem with quick criminal justice as there is no system of summary justice.At times it leaves the public very frustrated.Like in Kasab's case whole world has seen him shooting Innocent people on TV .
Challenges of justice become quite complex. In American constitution the framers had included right of speedy trial as right of citizens and in federal courts the judgements are rendered with in two years or so.One may appeal the judgement to the federal appeals court.That is it .Supreme court of united states takes only major cases involving constitutional issues.They only number 80 to 100 per year these days.
