This question i am asking for efficiency of use as well as of materials. Is it possible to use high speed extraction machines by pumping hot air if need be from gas or other sources to dry clothes in the same drum. What i am suggesting is that after clothes are washed and water extracted if they can be dried in the same drum it will save space and make one step washing drying of clothes .How we will keep them wrinkle free is also a question. Is it going to be very complicated inferior single step from simple a perfectly executed two step process.
please feed back.
Just from one of the blogs info
Using a user interface example for why a washing machine needs to be “smart” is a misleading approach. There are lots of machine control and routine operational applications to be controlled in an appliance. Maintaining water temperature and pressure, dispensing soap automatically to fit the size of the load, sensing dirt in the wash water and hence lack of dirt in the clothes, sensing out-of-balance loads and coltrolling spin speed. Dryers got considerably more efficient and predictable just by putting a moisture sensor in the exhaust chute to sense when the load was dry. These arethe things that will make the appliances truly “digital.”— - tomP
