When you are a Kennedy some things come to you easy ,some are your birth right.Others people just hand it over to ,not your fault.Politics you learn by birth.Every election you are supposed to canvas for somebody and help out so they may reciprocate.
These are just the problems of being Kennedy.It is not than John or Bobby did not serve with distinction. They have surely been blessed and cursed like most the the families who are not in the lime light.There grief is public.
Being a Kennedy, you never need to find a job unless you can be paid by public dole with no requirement of putting in the time.You do not need to stand in line and if airport security after 9/11 asks you to go through the metal detectors you can push your way and never apologise till you are sued and are able to negotiate out of court.Any other poor bloke will be hauled to prison for much lesser infringement.
If you are drunk in middle of the night and driving and have an accident with a barrier in Capital, Instead of prison you go to drug rehab .No tickets.Your constituents just vote you back in.This is the burden of being Kennedy.
Being Kennedy you flaunt your Catholicism and in case of Kennedy's you get annulment of your marriage it does not matter how you treat your spouses.In the eyes of the church all your sins are forgiven.Divorce is much prevalent in the family.
If some unlucky person travels with you in remote areas and you are in an accident and die as in case of Ted and he went home and slept.Not much happened to the case and he got free pass and was rewarded by being elected ,again,again,again,again,again,again,again, .
When one Kennedy rents a boat trashes it and then blames the owner for providing unsafe boat and settles the claim.No back lashes on them.Real stain less steel Kennedy family.
