Health Care debate and other issues.

September 9 article in NYT by Michael Pollan raises a major issues about mega food businesses and health care in America.

Our health care can not take care as long as we are bent on getting sick.We are fat, we eat junk and too much fat ,sugar and salt and baby food(processed food) ,we do not exercise . No wonder even after paying whopping amounts for health care we are going broke. Yes there are problems in our health delivery system. Our form of government with competing interest make it very difficult to create consensus, even a working majority is very difficult.Last 44 years we have been trying to improve health care for ordinary citizens and INERTIA has won.

IT IS TIME THAT WE DID SOMETHING BY HELPING OUR CHILDREN LIVE HEALTHIER LIVES OR WE WILL FAIL MISERABLY AS A SOCIETY UN ABLE TO FORM CONSENSUS ON IMPORTANT ISSUES .THAT WILL BE SAD FOR THE PARAGON OF INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM THE EXPERIMENT WE CALL America.
