Under Chinese Pressure 19 countries to Miss Peace prize celebrations.

Those countries are China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Serbia, Iraq , Iran, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Venezuela, the Philippines, Egypt, Sudan, Ukraine, Cuba and Morocco.

In realty this is the sad list of countries .Many of them are US allies and others antagonists.

Fear of Honoring a Chinese dissident has become so great that these countries many with not so free societies have joined China in not attending the Nobel ceremonies.
China makes many countries aware of its policies by brow beating all nations on the policies which may just irritate it.Its state capitalism has served the poorest masses to a degree by help from USA and its free enterprise(marginal)system.Now this economic power instead of humbling the nation has made it more arrogant and belligerent in relations with its neighbors and its own minorities.

The worlds freedom loving people should also make it a point to challenge Chinese hegemony and expose their behavior. Every time they put pressure, forces of freedom should counter pressure so that the weak may not feel isolated.

It is clear that Liu Xiaobo will not be allowed to attend the Nobel peace prize ceremonies.His wife and other relatives are also being detained in order to prevent them from attending the ceremonies.

Pakistan supports Chinese position on Liu Xiaobo winning Nobel peace prize.

It is sad that Pakistan has supported the position of China in its criticism of Nobel committee in awarding Nobel peace prize to Liu Xiaobo.
Liu is in prison for developing Chater 08 a documented created to set Chinese agenda to promote freedom of religion,conscience and thought in china .350 Chinese and many thousands people worldwide had signed the document in solidarity with the Chinese conscience fighters.Chinese courts gave him 11 year jail for this action .Liu is hero of Tienanmen Square uprising particularly important leader to diffuse the torsion and avoid blood shed.

I guess China does not like any leader religious political which is not approved and sanctioned by the party.It can not tolerate independent thinker like LIu Xiaobo.

Pakistan had only one Nobel Laureate .First Muslim Nobel laureate Mr Abdus Salam .Dr Abdus Salam belonged to Ahmadiya sect .Sadly a 1974 law of Pakistan had declared Ahmadiya's non Muslim in Islamic republic of the pure the Pakistan .After Dr Salams death his body was buried in Pakistan and on his grave a marker was placed stating he was the first Muslim Nobel laureate .Some body went to court and got the judgement that he being Ahmadiya was not Muslim and court agreed and ordered the word Muslim should be removed from his grave stone and was done so.

No respect for Chinese Peace prize winner can be expected from Pakistani Government when they treated its honored son so badly.

ANY NATION WHICH FAILS TO RESPECT ITS THINKERS AND FAILS TO HONOR OUTSTANDING SCIENTISTS AND LEADERS IS DOOMED TO FAILURE .SADLY PAKISTAN IS ON ITS TRAGIC PATH.

December 23 2009 i had blogged about Liu Xiaobo activist who was sent to jail .i had also written about militaristic intentions of mercatile China.China's state capitalism is eating lunch of 2 cent capitalists ( with 3 trillion cash reserves) with the ability to manipulate the markets.

They have clumsily tried to manipulate the markets including commodities.I am afraid they will be able to refine their processes unless we remain vigilant.

It will be challenge to deal with economic imbalances created by this scenario. Inability of the american and so called free market system to deliver public good is a challenge it has to meet or perish as a system.

Nobel peace prize to Peace activist(Liu Xiaobo) is a great symbolic action by the Nobel committee.It is no answer to mercantile manipuation coming in the future.

China is bullying where ever it can and world goes along.This can not go on for ever without restricting human rights and freedoms we have won in last fifty or so years.

This is no two bit country .This is happening in worlds largest trading partner.It is time where United states reduced trade with China and increase proportionately with other countries to claim the status of largest trading partner of the world.We are still the largest importer of goods that gives us a special status. Size of US economy makes it possible for America to do many things which smaller economies could not imagine.

Cambodia has been bullied into sending Uighur whom China considers rebels and anti social back to China .Jeopardising their safety and rights.If china had its way Dalai Lama would rot in their prisons.China has installed communist party members as leaders of the religious institutions and have undermined traditional independence of religion.This applies to followers of native and foreign based churches.

CHINA SAYS ITS CITIZENS ARE FREE TO CHOOSE AS LONG AS IT IS RUN BY THE PARTY.
